PHILADELPHIA — April 8, 2015 — The Philadelphia MarketPlace Food & Shops at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) celebrated the grand opening of La Tapenade this week with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Whether you’re looking for a quick meal between connecting flights, or a peaceful place to relax and eat during a layover, La Tapenade has a diverse, health-conscious menu with a Mediterranean twist. La Tapenade serves international dishes made from ingredients such as homemade chutneys, Tzatziki sauces, hummus, fire roasted vegetables, fine cheeses and specialty-grilled meats. It functions as an all-day café serving morning pastries and coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner sandwiches, flatbread pizzas, entrée salads, snacks and desserts.
La Tapenade will join the assortment of restaurants already stationed in International Terminal A West, including Chickie’s & Pete’s, Angela’s Panini Bar and more.
“We’re thrilled to have La Tapenade join the PHL family,” said Mel Hannah, vice president and general manager of MarketPlace Philadelphia Management. “Its unique, flavorful menu delivers even more dining options for our travelers.”
Travelers through PHL have more than 170 locations for shopping and dining. For more information about the Philadelphia Marketplace Food & Shops, please visit www.philamarketplace.com.
