Harleysville, Pa.—February 16, 2015—Hornercom, a full-service public relations and marketing communications agency, today announces the addition of three new team members to the company’s public relations team. The Philly-area top-10 public relations firm welcomes executive director Alana Suko, account supervisor Jeff Shurilla and account coordinator Chelsea D’Amore to its team.
Suko joins Hornercom as executive director, responsible for maintaining Hornercom’s commitment to excellent client service and providing oversight for all client activities and staff. Prior to joining the Hornercom team, Suko was founder and
president of independent public relations and marketing communications consultancy Bluefin Communications. A former vice president with Weber Shandwick Worldwide, the world’s largest public relations agency, Suko is committed to developing and executing integrated public relations programs that advance clients' marketing and thought leadership initiatives through dialogue with key influencers. A graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, Suko also held positions at Boston-based public relations agencies Neva Group and Rourke & Company.
Shurilla, as account supervisor, is responsible for developing and implementing strategic public relations campaigns for a roster of diverse clients. Prior to joining Hornercom, Shurilla was founder and president of Shurilla Guerrilla, a media/marketing company with a focus on social media. Previously, Shurilla was in television and radio, both on-air and behind the scenes for various stations, including Comcast in Philadelphia. Shurilla is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.
Prior to joining Hornercom, D’Amore worked as an intern with the Rosen Group, a boutique public relations firm based in New York City. D’Amore has experience working with a diverse group of brands, including Wine Spectator, the International
Fund for Animal Welfare and The Saturday Evening Post. D’Amore recently graduated summa cum laude from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
